Memorandum that launches the data future of local governments
Trnava - 21 August 2025 - The DEUS Association (DataCentre for the Electronification of Territorial Self-Government in Slovakia) and MAPSFY s. r. o., a provider of digital tools for local government management, geospatial services and remote sensing data, have officially concluded a Memorandum of Cooperation.
Modern technologies at the service of Slovak local governments
The Memorandum sets out common goals aimed at smart territorial management through innovation, education and mutual expertise. MAPSFY s.r.o., operator of its own map portal mapsfy.com, delivers a wide range of services including the creation of interactive mapping solutions, geospatial and satellite data processing, UAV aerial work and artificial intelligence applications.
DEUS, as the operator of the portal DCOM, provides support to its members in digitising and improving e-services for citizens. With more than 2,000 customers and more than 70 percent coverage of Slovak municipalities and cities, DEUS is a leader in the field of information systems for local governments.

Within the framework of the cooperation, both parties plan to organize promotional and educational activities, partnership in the field of acquiring expertise, expert consultations in order to support smart, data-driven decision-making in cities and municipalities in Slovakia.
On 21 August 2025, the Digital Solutions Showroom in Trnava, key players met to lay the foundations for future cooperation. The Memorandum was signed by DEUS Executive Director Ing. Ľubomír Lőrincz and the Managing Director of MAPSFY s. r. o. Ing. Miroslav Vanek together with Product Specialist Ing. Katarína Inášová.
